Reclining figure

What specific set of steps would you take to (legally~!) raise $2.5 million by Christmas 2009?

Let’s brainstorm a business plan together. Up for the challenge? Send a reply/comment by clicking on the ¡¡$!! title above to reach the comments page.

What hidden (shy!) and/or neglected assets do we each have that we could turn into passive royalty-generating income? What talents can we exploit (joyfully!) to earn active daily income to build on what we’re setting up with the passive income in the background? How can we team up with someone else to be the strengths to their weaknesses, and they can be the strengths to ours? How do we structure this in a concrete way to take measurable steps toward this lofty nosebleedy goal? Heh. How can we tweak this to make this better and smarter and more enjoyable along the way so it’ll be a great tall tale to tell the great grandkids?

Hmm, so I’ve got some starter baby-ideas growing, and friends coming aboard with brainstorming their steps too, but it’s still going to need to grow into something more concise, see if bringing together a team to each accomplish very specific goals can increase the likelihood of this success for each of us in particular?

Let’s try this experiment, plot out the details in their most objective form (as though you’re raising money for your favorite charitable cause, none of this root of all evil stuff crowding our heads, so we can do this without the guilt, and see how close we get – sound good?

Any financial coaches or online communities dedicated to doing precisely this type of planning and thinking, that you can point me to while we’re re-inventing the wheel over here? (Ah, and all on a half-shoestring budget till this moves farther along in the right direction again – heh.)

Would love your suggestions, and introductions to great minds, and let’s find ways to get you closer to your specific goals at the same time – and in the meantime, thanks for peeking at this!
